Simple French Toast

Simple French Toast

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of your favorite bread (I love using brioche or streusel loafs)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat skillet over medium heat. Spray with a non-stick spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  3. Coat each slice of bread in the egg mixture, one slice at a time.
  4. Place bread slices on heated skillet and cook until golden brown on each side.
  5. Serve with desired toppings (syrup, fruit, chocolate chips, whipped cream, etc)
