Sheet Pan Pizza

Sheet Pan Pizza

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1-2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 (0.75 oz) packet instant dry yeast
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1-2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • pepperoni and other desired toppings

Instructions

  1. Add flour, sugar, yeast, oregano, salt, and garlic powder to a food processor with the S-shaped blade. Pulse once or twice to combine.
  2. Add warm water and 1 Tbsp olive oil. Ensure that the water is not too hot so it does not deactivate the yeast.
  3. Turn on food processor until dough forms.
  4. Remove dough from food processor and shape into a ball with your hands. Place dough in a large mixing bowl that has 1 Tbsp olive oil spread along the surface.
  5. Place a towel over the mixing bowl and allow dough to rise for 1 hour.
  6. After the dough has risen, preheat oven to 500F. Spread 1 Tbsp olive oil on a large sheet pan.
  7. Remove the dough from the bowl and carefully stretch it with your hands. Place dough on prepared sheet pan and use your fingers to spread the dough out to the sides of the sheet pan.
  8. Add the pizza sauce, cheese, and desired toppings. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is fully cooked and the cheese begins to turn golden brown.
