Homemade Tomato Soup

Homemade Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 tomatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup broth*
  • salt, pepper, onion powder, oregano to taste

Instructions

  1. Add tomatoes, canned tomatoes, garlic, and seasonings to a medium sized pot over medium high heat. Cook until tomatoes become soft.
  2. Add broth to mixture. Use an immersion blender to blend until smooth or remove from heat and blend in a standard blender.
  3. Serve immediately or store in the fridge.

Notes

*I like to use bone broth for added protein. You can use any type of broth that you prefer.
